Aikiza(b. 2005) is a Baguio City based photographer currently roaming the streets of the highlands, taking one "rule-breaking" photo at a time. He runs Snapitics, his digital photo repository website whose name is a portmanteau born from snaps, pics, and pitik, the raw Filipino slang for a snapshot.

His creative path was entirely rewired when he discovered Paulie B’s and Tim Jamieson’s Walkie Talkie street interview series on YouTube. Watching them pull back the curtain on the gritty realities of the craft through the eyes and mindsets of masters like Mark Portillo, Kazuto Nakajima, AJ Manalaysay, Reuben Radding, and Cal Holland changed everything for him.

These photographers taught him that great photography does not need to bow to a strict, suffocating set of rigid rules to be considered great. Through their vision, he learned that as long as the photographer finds genuine joy in the frame they captured, that shot is worth everything.
