Welcome to Snapitics! You are visiting a website named and portmanteaued after three words: snaps, pics, and pitik. Pitik means snapshots in Filipino slang. This space is owned by Aikiza Kyle, a Baguio based photographer who pitiks for his love of the game. 

His journey truly started when he discovered Paulie B's Walkie Talkie. It is a series where he interviewed street photographers about their drive and experiences of being one. Specifically, hearing the mindset of some photographers specially Mark Portillo, Kazu Nakajima, Reuben Radding, and Shivam Pandey was a game changer for him. 

Their mindset made him realize that good photos doesn't always need to conform to rigid rules just to be considered one. As long as the photographer is finding joy and connection in the frame they've captured, it is worth the shot. With that being said, he is currently abandoning that notion one "rule breaking" photo at a time.
